The trail rises to the first 0.25 Miles (0,4 km) the Fruita Campground (ca. 1660 m) steeply into the canyon Cohab (ca.1760 m) on. After that it is moderately through the canyon with a branch to two Aussichtspukten (ca. 1790 m). The road to the lookout points is not as spectacular, so you do not miss anything, if after the turnoff to the lookout points back to the starting point, The Fruita Campground is.
